Would you like to take a few years (or just a refreshingly long week) off your face? Or perhaps you want to feel empowered to go makeup-free and embrace your natural beauty? The secret is simple: prioritize the care of your eyes!
There’s an abundance of eye creams and products available today to help you achieve that youthful glow. If exploring these options intrigues you, we’re here to guide you in discovering the ideal product for your needs. We proudly offer Rhonda Allison products but are also happy to assess other brands that might suit you.
If you’re interested in natural remedies that you can easily whip up at home, here are some fantastic starter tips to get you going:
Makeup Remover: Castor oil is a remarkable choice for gently removing eye makeup. When combined with two other natural oils, it not only cleanses but also conditions your skin and lashes. Even the most stubborn mascara slides off effortlessly with this light oil blend. Always remember to treat the delicate skin around your eyes with care—never tug or pull!
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon castor oil
1 tablespoon light olive oil
Combine the oils in a clean container.
Apply a small amount of the mixture onto a clean cotton pad and softly wipe over your upper and lower eyelashes and eyelids.
Puffy, Tired Eyes: For soothing puffy eyes, try using two cool tea bags or crisp cucumber slices. This is an effortless solution, especially when you’re traveling; simply grab tea bags from the coffee bar in your hotel or check the restaurant for fresh cucumber slices.
Alternatively, for a slightly more involved remedy, consider this refreshing gel that calms and hydrates tired eyes. It’s perfect for morning use under makeup or as an evening refresher before heading out.
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
1 teaspoon fresh cucumber juice, strained
¼ teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon witch hazel
Blend the aloe, cucumber juice, and cornstarch, heating gently until fully mixed—about 1 minute on high in the microwave. You can also use a stovetop, just be cautious not to bring it to a boil.
Once heated, remove from heat and incorporate the witch hazel. Stir thoroughly and let cool completely.
You should end up with a clear, jelly-like cream. Transfer it into a small, clean jar. Dab a small amount onto the skin beneath your eyes, taking care to avoid rubbing or pulling the sensitive area.
Easy Multipurpose Moisturizer and Travel Essential: A small bottle of sweet almond oil with a few drops of vitamin E oil can be your go-to solution for moisturizing the under-eye area while traveling and overnight.
